This trolley is placed under a desk or counter to receive and store books that are being returned through a chute or opening.  The spring loaded depressable lid will lower as the books start to pile up and then will return to the neutral position when the books are unloaded.

The metal frame scissor mechanism, made by Kendor, uses tubular metal framing and a variety of springs and adjusters to get the balance.

Making the mechanism in house gives us the option to offer size variations.

This item is on castors and is easily moved to an unloading position.  The Chrome handle is optional.
